Indomie / Lagos State Spelling Bee annual competition

The Spelling Bee is an annual competition for public primary and secondary schools in Lagos, Nigeria. It was initiated and introduced to the Lagos State Ministry of Education by New Era Foundation (NEF).

Dufil Prima Foods Ltd has been the major sponsor for the competition since inception.

Overall winner from the competition automatically becomes the ceremonial one-day Governor for the state.

The One Day Governor and other cabinet members usually pay courtesy visit to Indomie every year.
